Nicole Roque grew up in southern Connecticut. She was a ballet student into her teen years, training at The Ballet Class in Rye, NY, and spent a summer at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Nicole began sewing in her Fashion 1 class with Mrs.Linda Turbert at Greenwich High School, where she fell in love with garment construction.

After graduating from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, PA on an Air Force ROTC Commander's Leadership Scholarship, Nicole joined the United States Air Force. She was stationed overseas at Ramstein Air Base, Germany where she served her active duty commitment.

After taking time to raise her three daughters, Nicole went back to school, taking Design, Patternmaking, and Color Theory classes at the Art Institute of New York City. She then focused on design for dance, attending several tutu-making seminars, coming full-circle and answering her calling to classical ballet.

Nicole works out of her home studio in Mount Vernon, New York.
